Missy's Story...
Missy was picked up as a stray in Northern, AZ. Her life was in danger in this small rural shelter.
She's timid at first but looks at you as to say "I really want to love you, is that OK?"

Missy weighs approx. 40 lbs, has a short coat and a long tail. We are not sure what, if any training, she might have had. But she is good in a crate and well mannered in the house. She uses the doggy door. I although I think she would love children, she should not be with small children due to food issues. We suggest training classes from the onset of adoption. Missy adoption donation is $125 to cover the cost of her spay, microchip and vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog/Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Brittany for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Brittany dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Brittany breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
