Boris's Story...
Boris is a cute 2 yr old 30 lb boy who looks like a miniature Pointer. He and another dog were picked up as strays and non one ever came to claim them. His friend got adopted and he was almost out of time, so we took him into foster care. Boris is a great dog and we just don't know how you lose a dog like him!! He is very good with other dogs. He is very sweet. He is even housetrained! Boris is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped! **This pet is in a foster home, not a shelter, please use the contact information provided.** LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boris, a Woodstock Rat Terrier/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Pointer for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Pointer dog from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Pointer breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
