Jessie's Story...
Jessie is an incredibly sweet 5 year old Beagle that was brought into the vet to be euthanized because she wasn't producing puppies for the breeder any longer. The wonderful vet couldn't put her down and instead called rescue to help. Jessie is such a great dog! Don't pass her up because of typical Beagle misconceptions. She is calm, loves to follow her foster mom around the house, and she doesn't bark often. Her little tail wags all the time and she makes these happy little grunting noises - adorable! She'd be perfect with an older couple that wants a dog who is not much trouble or family that isn't too active. Jessie just wants to be by her humans and she loves children. We can't say enough good things about this little girl. Please go to www.centralohiodogrescue.petfinder.com for an application to adopt or email centralohiodogrescue@gmail.com for additional information. Jessie's adoption fee is a donation to rescue to help toward vetting. She is spayed and fully vetted including a dental.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a Hilliard Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Hilliard, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Hilliard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hilliard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hilliard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hilliard paves the way for another one to be saved.
