Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We pulled Tia and her two 2 week old babies from a high kill, rural shelter in Carlsbad, NM (who works with no kill rescues) on August 11, 2012.
Tia is the young, pretty chihuahua mama of Carmen and Manuel. She is a fantastic mother, is very attentive to her babies, is very trusting of everyone picking up her babies, handling her when she's eating, and extremely sweet, affectionate and loving! She is playing with our indoor pack of 14 very well! Tia is visually impaired (can see light/dark/shadows) and gets around extremely well -- even in a dimly lit room. She is very mellow and is not a typical nervous, barky barky chihuahua (though we don't allow that here at the ranch, ha ha). She would be best as an only dog or with another small, medium energy dog. Tia is current on shots and is available for adoption mid September. She is due to be spayed the end of September.
