Spirit's Story...
SPIRIT, an adorable long hair girl born on Mother's Day (5/13/12) looks like a spotted dilute calico. Spirit has been unusual in every way.....She was the last to be born, but the first to do everything. From the day of her birth, when she actually walked herself right out of her mothers womb, breaking her birth bag with her paw as she wandered to find her breast, to being the first to open her eyes, the first to purr, the first to play, the first to bounce and skip and...fall over lol...and thus has earned her fitting name. Spirit is a joy to watch, because as exactly as her name implies...she is spirited. She will bouce and play, and when a human enters, she will come bounce and play right next to you....tugging on your shirt, licking your leg....and she will make you laugh because sometimes when she bounces...she bounces right over. But that does not stop this little girl. She is funny and happy to entertain. Spirit has a special bond with her sister Stella. They make the best play partners (and she can handle her size as sister Stella is the largest of the bunch), and plan to be homed together. Sure to be placed quickly, if you are interested in providing a forever home to Spirit and his sister Stella, don't wait... email your inquiry and completed consultation form to Adoptions@CatADo.org today. All Cat A Do kittys come FELV tested, vaccinated, spayed/nuetered, microchipped and with 30 days of free pet insurance.

Our Adoption Process...
It is the policy of Cat A Do Cat Co-Op that all potential cat adopters complete the Cat/Kitten Adoption Consultation Form and complete an interview with an Adoption Coordinator in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens.

Cat A Do will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with the Adoption Coordinator, Cat A Do may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.

Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten. Cat A Do is a privately run, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spirit, a Mesa Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
