Tess's Story...
Tess is a spirited, energetic girl 2 year old who loves to run and play. Her small dog and cat status is unknown. Tess had a very short race career.

I’m a blonde bombshell with white markings called Tess. I’m a looker and I don’t shy away from self-promotion. When you take me to a safe doggie park and I’m charging around chasing a ball, I’m easy to spot because the tip of my tail is white, just like a flashlight. Running free, unmuzzled, in the kennel playground gives me such joy. I can smell the wind, the plants, and life, not to mention ‘bank deposits’ from the other greyhounds, if you get my drift. But everything is okay because I’m free.
She plays "catch me if you can", until you tell her enough.
I’m an April baby so I will be an active, loving pooch that enjoys hands-on affection. You’d better get used to sloppy kisses ‘cos I deliver the best!
I will be available 10/6.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tess, a Tucson Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
