Update from foster mom 12/16/12
Shorty is fun, sweet and goofy! She loves other dogs large and small! She loves children as she lives with my three small children and she loves them so but can be a bit overzealous with her tail wagging and bumps one of them once in awhile. Shorty would do best in an active family who will make sure Shorty gets enough exercise to grow up being a mentally and of course physically happy, stable and content dog. Shorty loves praise and treats and will do pretty much anything for a reward. Shorty, because of her good behavior since she came to us, earned the right to go hiking in the woods off leash with my dogs and she did great, no concern of her taking of as she was walking on my heels making sure she would not lose me, after she started feeling a bit more confident she did join in with my dogs and started to run more freely but always making sure she knew were I was. She had a great time and listened to me at all times. Shorty is crate trained and in the short time I have had her, she has not had any accidents in her crate or out of her crate. She does need a little training when it comes to house manners but she is learning what is appropriate indoor behavior and works hard on it because she loves to be with you at all times. Shorty will be a wonderful addition to the right family bringing tremendous amounts of love and joy.
Foster found! She will be arriving to NJ sometime in November!
This dog is located in a kill shelter in GA. If we can find someon to foster or adopt we can have him saved and brought to NJ. Please fill out an application right away if you are interested!

We are a no-kill rescue who pulls from high kill shelters. As of right now, everything is being run out of our own homes and approved foster homes. Needless to say, we are in desperate need of foster homes so we can save more lives.

We do home checks, personal reference checks, vet checks and have an application to fill out.
A $300 adoption fee* for dogs and $350 for puppies is required when adopting your new pet in the form of a post dated check.
*Occasionally in certain cases the adoption fee may be higher based on incurred medical expenses.
We serve West Milford and surrounding areas. Pretty much all of NJ, most of NY. Anything within 200 miles of West Milford, NJ.
