Muffin's Story...
Hello! My name is Muffin. I was rescued from the LA County Carson Animal Shelter where my “owner” left me. I was so depressed. I just tried to sleep in my cage and hoped that when I would wake up this would be all be a nightmare…but it wasn’t. I was stuck in a filthy kennel run with several other dogs and we all wanted so desperately to be recognized and rescued. I was one of the lucky ones.

I am a super friendly, kissy and tiny wiggle-bottom. When I am really excited I can do a little dance where I stand up on my hind legs and wave my paws like a bunny. I have HUGE bat ears that everyone gets a kick out of and very unique coloring — kind of a silvery, tan, white and black. I am a one of a kind gal and I know you will fall in love with me if you just give me the chance.

xo,

Muffin

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Muffin, a Los Angeles Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
