Kiki's Story...
IDGSR welcomes Kiki! She was abandoned by her family when they moved. Kiki is about 4 months old and was saved from ending up at a shelter. Kiki gets along well with other dogs and is looking for a wonderful adopter.
UPDATE from Kiki's foster mom: She is such a sweet little prissy thing. She prances when she walks, doesn't particularly like to get her tootsies wet. She is very smart and attentive. Very obedient when called. She would do well with another dog. She has a sweet disposition and loves to play. She loves men in particular, women and children of all ages. She is cat friendly and would love to play with them, if only they would play back with her. She LOVES to ride in the car and has excellent car manners. She has extremely nice leash manners. She would truly blossom with basic obedience as she loves to please. She is a high energy little gal, but settles down when given the command. She does sit, down, come and stay when commanded. She is just a love to be around. She also has the prettiest eyelashes. She is crate trained. Kiki LOVES to cuddle, snuggle and give kisses. She is absolutely adorable in every way.

If you think she would be a great addition to your family, please fill out an application on our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiki, a Greeneville Dutch Shepherd/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Collie for sale in Greeneville, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Collie puppy from a breeder in Greeneville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeneville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeneville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Collie breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeneville paves the way for another one to be saved.
