Snowball was loved since kittenhood by an elderly lady who took very good care of her. Unfortunately, earlier this year, Snowball’s lady declined in health and had to go to a nursing home. Her grown children closed up the house and put Snowball out on the street. A rescuer we know found her and called the phone number on her tag; she was told that Snowball was no longer wanted and they didn’t care what happened to her.
Not long after, another kitty “Julius” was abandoned at a trailer park. Some kind people who lived there used what little money they had to feed him, but when the money ran out they were evicted and left him behind. Snowball’s rescuer saved Julius as well, and it was not long before these two discarded kitties became inseparable friends.
Julius has maintained his cheerful attitude despite what he has been through this year. He is a “love me love me love me” kinda guy, and he just cannot get enough attention. His motor goes nonstop, and he adores being petted and combed. In fact if you stop, he will push his head against you until you get the hint that he wasn’t done.
Snowball is more reserved but also very loving; she will sit next to you and purr all day. She is ladylike and sweet.
These two companions are very bonded and like to lay side-by-side and groom each other.
Snowball is three years old and Julius is estimated to be five. They have both tested negative for FIV and FeLV and are in good health. Of course, they are spayed/neutered and vaccinated. Julius recently had his teeth cleaned as well.
