Charlie's Story...
Charlie and his siblings were dropped off at a local no kill shelter. They didn't have enough foster homes for them so LCPO decided to help out! They are around 11 weeks old and will be visiting the vet soon for their first round of shots. They will be getting lots of positive socialization and start working on house training and basic manners. They will need adoptive homes who are committed to socialization and training to help them reach their full potential! Their furever homes will need to use positive reinforcement training and practice responsible owner/guardianship. For more info on adding one of these puppies to your family email Adoption application, reference check, home visit and adoption fee required.

To donate towards their vet care visit: or chip in: or by mail to: LCPO PO Box 1861 Shavertown PA 18708.

"From the foster"- Charlie was nervous at first, but after just a day in foster care, he's really coming out of his shell! He'd never seen grass before yesterday, but now it's his favorite thing in the entire world! Charlie loves his foster brother and sisters and is learning what toys, bones, and treats are. He loves to give puppy kisses, craves human attention, and would make a great addition to any family

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a WARREN Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in WARREN, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in WARREN.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in WARREN already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a WARREN breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in WARREN paves the way for another one to be saved.
