SEE VIDEO ALSO ON THIS PAGE! Rose, a petite American Staffordshire Terrier, 40 lbs, 6 years old, was pulled from San Harbor shelter in April 2011 on the day she was to be euthanized. She needed dog socialization with other female dogs and has received that at Custom Dog Ranch for almost 3 years now She still has initial anxiety around new dogs/new people, so she requires someone with pit experience and also one that will give her direction and guidance. She definitely needs a calm, and stable environment, preferably one where it's quiet and not hectic. The calmer her environment, the less anxiety she tends to have. For her, trusting her human is KEY and is a great listener when she does. Overall, Rose is very low maintenance, loving going on short walks, and cuddling with her person. We are looking to place her in a foster to adopt situation, preferably with no other pets or children. If interested, please contact Keri at: 213-999-9098 or e-mail: email@example.com
We are a group of volunteers who rescue dogs, cats and other animals from the streets and shelters and care for them till we find them a new permanent home.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our animals are fostered/boarded in the south bay area and we show some of them every Saturday at Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies: 5299 Sepulveda Blvd Culver City, CA 90230 and on Sundays at Kritter Korral: 1724 Palos Verdes Drive North, Harbor City, CA 90710. We also attend the big adoption events (i.e. Best Friends events, OC Pet Expo, Walk for the Underdog, etc..)
Our Adoption Process...
We use Applications, Contracts, perform home checks & interviews with the family, and collect adoption fees to help us recover the costs for vaccines, spay or neuter & microchip (contact pet's foster re. amount).
