Star's Info...
| Breed: | Labrador Retriever/Border Collie Mix | Color: | Black - With White | Age: | Adult |
| Size: | Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) | Sex: | Female |
Star Is a loving lab mix with the beautiful nose that reminds us of an Afghan Hound. When you pull into the drive she is ready to greet you. This wonderful girl rushes over and sits right down to say hello.
Star is being cared for by a family of 7 with children ages 2-9. She is wonderful with the children and does not jump. As a young dog they have been amazed that she does not chew on things. They have a dog house for her but she doesn't like to go into it. Their yard is not fenced so she has the freedom of 10 acres. Star plays well with their large dog as well as the cat.
When Star made her way to the families home she was starved and carrying 5 puppies. Her wonderful rescue family found homes for the pups and has been doing their best to care for Star. Her health screening shows she is healthy and Star has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations.
This beautiful girl is ready to bring a twinkle to a forever family.
Rescue Group Info...
Faithful Friends Animal Advocates, Inc is a non-profit organization commited to helping our community become a place where animals are treated with kindness and respect. Further, we want to be a voice for the welfare of animals in our community through various avenues. Our goal is to build an adoption center for the Neosho, MO community in order to benefit the abused, abandoned and neglected domestic animals in our community.
People
The organization is comprised of volunteers who meet nearly weekly to organize events in order that we may serve the community successfully. There are many different opportunities to volunteer and donate time or financial gifts. If you are at all interested or know someone who would like to support our efforts, please contact us.
We typically host adoption events on the first Saturday of every month. All other opportunities to meet our pets are done by appointment only.
If you are interested in one of our adoptable pets; first you must fill out an adoption application. Upon review, FFAA members will screen your application, a meet and greet for you and the pet will be set up. If there are no reservations on either party, the adoption contract will need to be filled out and signed. There is an adoption fee for all animals to help cover veterinary care prior to placement.
We are out of Neosho, MO in southwest Missouri. We strive to help those in need in Newton and McDonald Counties. We do not currently have a facility for holding animals, so we rely on volunteer foster homes.
