Romeo's Story...
Meet Romeo. He is as sweet as they come and has lived up to his name. He seems to love every thing and everyone.
Romeo is shy when in new situations and would do well in a home that is more quiet and relaxed. He is a young boy (about 2) and needs someone to not only exercise his body but exercise his mind. Romeo also gets anxious when left alone so will need time to adjust or ideally someone that is home more often then not. He does very well with other animals but can not be around small furry creatures like rabbits as he will chase and could harm them. He is great around older children and a home with kids 8 or older would be great. He is currently being fostered with a small dog and has shown himself to be friendly around smart cats.
WCRR will only adopt within the province of B.C. We require all applicants to fill out and application form providing references and will also do a home check.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Surrey Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Surrey, or seeking a Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Surrey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Surrey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Surrey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Surrey paves the way for another one to be saved.
