Ziggy- jogging buddy!'s Story...
Hey guys! My name is Ziggy! I am 2 years old. Foster mom says I have the most beautiful eyes! Big brown eyes...and some eyeliner!! My owner surrendered me to a high-kill shelter in Maryland, along with my 3 chihuahua siblings. Only one of them got adopted, and SDHH took the rest of us! They are Rita and Sonny. Check them out too! I just arrived safely at my foster home. I am a playful and sweet guy. I love to play fetch with you and give you hugs. I like to help you walk me by putting my leash in my mouth! I walk nicely on the leash. I would make a great jogging partner! I am a good boy too, and play with toys on my own. I have a good appetite! Foster mom says I need to gain a few pounds, so we are working on that. I am good with cats and dogs. I'm just an all-around wonderful guy! And aren't I just the cutest thing?! I have my full tail too, no docking! If you would like an adoption application for me, please email SDHH_Rescue@Yahoo.com!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy- jogging buddy!, a Wilmington Boxer/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Bulldog for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Boxer/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
