Gabby's Story...
Meet “Gabby”, one of the four Olympic Gold kittens, named after gymnast Gabrielle Douglas. Like her brother and sisters Alexandra and Missy, Gabby is bi-colored (white/gray) but has more gray than sister Missy or brother Michael Phelps. She has a sweet little face, with a ½ white, ½ gray nose. Friendly, and as much a “Flying Squirrel” as her namesake, Gabby is active and nimble, amiable and loving.
Born June 20, 2012 to a home situation and then surrendered into foster care, Gabby is accustomed to human interaction. She is fully and reliably litter-box trained, and in her foster home loves the young children and the dog, as well as the older kittens and adult cats. Gabby has tested negative for FeLV/FIV and has received her kitten vaccines and other preventative care to date. She and her sisters & brother await a forever home of their own. Please consider adopting two of these babies together, or a single adoption if you own a kitten-friendly resident cat!.
Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at http://www.billericacatcarecoalition.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a N. Billerica Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
