Alexis's Story...
Alexis is a 5 1/2 yr old medium haired mostly white with grey tabby patches female who came to us when her owner moved. She is a friendly girl who likes to be petted and brushed. She has been ok with the cats she's met. We are told she is ok with other cats, small mellow dogs, and children. She has been an indoor only cat. As with all cats adopted through PAWS, she has been spayed, vetted, vaccinated-including rabies, and microchipped

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexis, a Bainbridge Island Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Bainbridge Island, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Bainbridge Island.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bainbridge Island already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bainbridge Island breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bainbridge Island paves the way for another one to be saved.
