Echo's Story...
Echo and Elsie were found together as strays in Santa Barbara. Echo is estimated to be about 2 years old and is probably one of Elsie's daughters. Echo is shy at first with new people, but warms up quickly and loves to play. Echo will do best in a home with another dog - or in a home where someone is home most of the time to walk and play with her. DNA testing indicated a mix of primarily Husky and Malamute. Echo did well in cat testing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Echo, a Santa Rosa Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Santa Rosa, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Santa Rosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Rosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Rosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Rosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
