Zack's Story...
Zack is a happy little guy who will jump for joy at the anticipation of a walk, but quickly settles down so you can collar him and head out. Once outside, he is a very good boy with a moderate energy level for a nice brisk walk. Zack comes from a situation where he did not get much opportunity to socialize with other dogs outside of his 2 brothers and 2 sisters (all of whom have been adopted). He would do well with someone who is willing to devote the time needed to socialize him with daily walks where he can make a few friends; or even attending training classes or play groups that would allow him to make friends. Zack is an agile little guy and may enjoy trying his paw at agility training!

Not a barker -- in fact, Zack is just the opposite -- making him an ideal dog for an apartment dweller! Given the chance, Zack loves nothing more than to sweetly cuddle up to his person any chance he gets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zack, a Berkeley Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
