Tangerine's Story...
Tangerine is an older female Pomeranian. She is a real loving, sweet, cuddling, and affectionate girl. She and a black male Pomeranian came from down state Illinois. The black male (Black Knight) was adopted by a City of McHenry Family. Due to Tangerine's age, estimated to be between 6 and eight years old she would be best with an older person or couple who are not looking for a very active pet and companion. She is good on a leash and loves to walk with her human. She is such a sweet girl and would love to cuddle on the sofa. It would be great if an older person or couple would like to give her a forever home and family for her golden years. She would give love all day and night as long as she was shown love and affection.

She is spayed, heart worm tested, on heart worm preventative medication, current on shots, and micro chipped. Her adoption fee is $200.00 which helps rescue additional dogs. If you are interested in her and would like more information on her, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tangerine, a Chicago Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
