Meow! My name is Trixie
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Hi, I'm Trixie, a black and caramel tortie. I was 1 year old the week of March 8th. I am a daughter kitten to a feral kitty who brings all her kittens to a nice lady who feeds them. :) I am very sweet and good tempered. The lady has been picking me up all year just about every time she sees me, so I am mostly OK with people. Sometimes I get just a little shy, but I am getting over it. Being brushed with a soft brush is my favorite thing to do. I like to play with the nice lady's cats. Sometimes, I also like to go under the bed for a dark spot to sleep. I was negative for feline leukemia (whatever that is!) and had my rabies shot when I was spayed. Blue's Mews will pay for my other vaccinations so there are no fees for me. The only thing that is funny about me is that SICSA was supposed to "notch" my ear when I was spayed but they mistakenly took off the whole tip of my left ear. The nice lady says I am still very pretty. You will have to check me out and see if you think so, too. I hope you do, because I am very interested in a home of my own. Are you the person who will love me? I will love you. I promise! Trixie is a courtesy listing by Blue's Mews. Please contact Carol H. directly at 427-2823 or you can email her at firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about adopting little Trixie. Blue's Mews will ensure she has her full complement of vaccinations at no charge.

We are a small, grass-roots volunteer effort dedicated to easing the problems faced by unwanted Siamese cats and kittens and their non-Siamese cousins. We use foster homes for our animals to provide them with a warm and loving environment from which to be adopted; we give all of our animals excellent vet care to ensure they have a good start in life. We offer education and advice on cat care and cat behavior issues; we provide courtesy listings for adoptable pets for free on our web site. We provide support to indigent owners (emergency food and vet care assistance) as we are able and offer advice and assistance on resolving landlord pet issues (including ADA therapy pet designation). We are dedicated to making life easier for the animals who love and trust us and look to us for their safety, security, and happiness. The problems are large and we are small but we try hard to make a difference for cats at risk.
Donations may be sent to Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue, 273 Fairway Drive, Fairborn, OH 45324
We show our kittens at Pet Supplies Plus in Centerville and in Kettering on alternate Saturdays from 1 to 6 pm. We also visit Moochie and Co. at the Greene on the first Sunday of the month. We also show our animals in their home environments, by appointment, evenings and weekends.
Adoption requirements include an application that tells us something about the adoptive family and authorizes us to contact the family's vet for references, a phone or in-person interview, and at the director's discretion, home visitation. We provide an adoption contract that lists the animal's current and anticipated health care and delineates the owner's and our responsibilities. All cats and kittens have a 3-week health guarantee, in which we assume responsibility for vet care for any unrecognized or incubating health issues, and a 2-week satisfaction guarantee which provides a full refund for animals returned within the 2-week timeframe. Our adoption fees are $75 per Siamese mix or Siamese Wannabe and $100 per Siamese. Cats and kittens adopted in pairs are substantially discounted.
Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue is a small, volunteer-run, non-profit organization assisting Siamese cats, Siamese mixes, and Siamese wannabes (doesn't every cat want to be Siamese?).
We serve the greater Dayton/Fairborn/Beavercreek area (including, but not limited to, Montgomery, Greene, Clark counties)
