Eclipse is a gorgeous little black kitty who'd love nothing more than to be adopted by you. His brother Onyx has been adopted, leaving Eclipse with no one to play with (except Roger, Sally, and Charles--poor thing!) Please consider adopting black kitties, as they are often passed up. Black cats are stunning, especially as they get older. And they deserve love just as much as the next cat. Eclipse is such a loving kitty. He will just sit on your lap and let you brush him forever. We can't imagine why no one has adopted him yet, as he's one of the most well adjusted and sweet tempered kitties we've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
This is a courtesy listing for our volunteer, Jean D. If you would like to inquire about Eclipse, or any of Jean's other rescues, you can contact her at 937-725-9734. She's local (Miamisburg). Jean's kittens can also be seen at Pet Supplies Plus on Saturday from 1 to 6; we alternate between Centervillle and Kettering stores so call for that weekend's location before you come. Eclipse is current on kitten vaccines. If adopted as a Blue's Mews kitten, he will receive all of his shots for the year (3 FVRCP's, 2 FeLVs, rabies), will be altered, and will be microchipped; the adoption fee will be $75.00 each. Eclipse will also have a 3-week comprehensive health guarantee, and a 2-week satisfaction guaranteed refund policy. You can get a discount for adopting kittens in pairs. We encourage all adopters to take into consideration that most cats do better when they have a companion.
Rescue Group Info...
We are a small, grass-roots volunteer effort dedicated to easing the problems faced by unwanted Siamese cats and kittens and their non-Siamese cousins. We use foster homes for our animals to provide them with a warm and loving environment from which to be adopted; we give all of our animals excellent vet care to ensure they have a good start in life. We offer education and advice on cat care and cat behavior issues; we provide courtesy listings for adoptable pets for free on our web site. We provide support to indigent owners (emergency food and vet care assistance) as we are able and offer advice and assistance on resolving landlord pet issues (including ADA therapy pet designation). We are dedicated to making life easier for the animals who love and trust us and look to us for their safety, security, and happiness. The problems are large and we are small but we try hard to make a difference for cats at risk.
Donations may be sent to Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue, 273 Fairway Drive, Fairborn, OH 45324
We show our kittens at Pet Supplies Plus in Centerville and in Kettering on alternate Saturdays from 1 to 6 pm. We also visit Moochie and Co. at the Greene on the first Sunday of the month. We also show our animals in their home environments, by appointment, evenings and weekends.
Adoption requirements include an application that tells us something about the adoptive family and authorizes us to contact the family's vet for references, a phone or in-person interview, and at the director's discretion, home visitation. We provide an adoption contract that lists the animal's current and anticipated health care and delineates the owner's and our responsibilities. All cats and kittens have a 3-week health guarantee, in which we assume responsibility for vet care for any unrecognized or incubating health issues, and a 2-week satisfaction guarantee which provides a full refund for animals returned within the 2-week timeframe. Our adoption fees are $75 per Siamese mix or Siamese Wannabe and $100 per Siamese. Cats and kittens adopted in pairs are substantially discounted.
Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue is a small, volunteer-run, non-profit organization assisting Siamese cats, Siamese mixes, and Siamese wannabes (doesn't every cat want to be Siamese?).
We serve the greater Dayton/Fairborn/Beavercreek area (including, but not limited to, Montgomery, Greene, Clark counties)
