Pepper's foster mom sent me this picture of her today, sunning herself. She has done really well in her foster home and after attending a two week board and train program, she has perfect doggie manners. Pepper walks like a lady on a leash, knows all of her basic commands, along with "place" which allows her to relax in one spot even when the doorbell rings . She is a very friendly girl that does well with other dogs that are respectful and calm. She would be a great running partner or hiking buddy and she loves her toys! We saved Pepper from a high kill shelter where she had already been fully sedated in preparation for death by heart stick We are glad that we were able to give this special girl a second chance, she tries so very hard to please and as a result, learns new things easily. Pepper is quite a catch and we feel would do best in a home with experienced owners as she does need structure. If you're interested in Pepper, please contact Jamie@tndeathrowodogs.org. Our adoption application can be found posted on our site at tndeathrowdogs.org.
