Hello People,
I’m Cricket, an adorable, smart, energetic and tail-wagging little Bichon guy of about one. My foster mom says that I’m a happy, active, affectionate, sweet and smart little boy who is in love with life.
I enjoy my doggy foster sisters and brothers – and I love children! With my doggy buddies I play buzz-around and tug-of-war. Mom says I’m just about the most playful little guy she has ever seen. One of the things I like to do is carry my rope toy in my mouth and try to get one of them to play with me. If that doesn’t work I try a ball or toys in hopes we can play fetch.
While I love to play with other fur kids, I also play well by myself. Dad says I like to chase my balls or toys – and that I ‘almost’ bring them back! (Dad does such a good job that I don’t want to ruin his fun!)
I also LOVE children. I like to stand still so they can give me a pat on my head – and then I run and try to get them to follow and play with me! There is no doubt that I’m loveable. Why I’m so affectionate that I will come up to Mom (or you!) lay my head on her chest and look at her with my big brown eyes – and it’s all over! (At that point she says she melts.)
I like to walk on a leash – and WOW, is that fun! And I’m learning my commands (I learned ‘SIT’, ‘Get the ball’ and ‘ Drop it’ in no time at all. Mom says that I am anxious to please and that I’m S-M-A-R-T! She has to spell it because she doesn’t want me to get a swelled head.) Dad says I’m completely housebroken and that’s not surprising since I’m as smart as I am. (He was very impressed with that, too!)
My hair is growing back soft and silky and white. Soon I’ll be a little white cotton ball of a bichon. And I love to ride in the car. I just sit quietly looking out the window, happy to be with Mom or Dad and enjoying the ride.
I’m also very energetic and active, very loving and loyal. She says I’m a sweetheart of a furkid who would love a forever family, with kids and other dogs to play with (Tug-of-war anyone?) If that sounds like you then let’s schedule a play date. Dad says you will never find anyone better!
