JR is a puppy at nearly 1 year old, D.O.B 9/17/11 and is a black large Toy/small Mini Poodle at 11lbs. JR's story is a sad one, he was not potty trained in his first home so he was tied to a door handle and not fed so he would not go to the bathroom in the house! He was rescued by a kind lady who got JR back to a normal healthy weight and taught him some manners. We were contacted to take over his care and to find him a wonderful new home. JR loves to be with his human, now he understands that not all of us are bad, he loves people but especially the one's who love and care for him and he delivers in kind. JR is one energetic dog who loves to run and play with toys, so a fenced in yard and active lifestyle will be great for this boy. He gets on great with other dogs in his foster home but we think JR would be better off as an only dog because of his devotion to his human. JR is super, super smart who has some training onboard, but if someone were to do some extra training with him the skies the limit of what he is capapble of. So any agility or rally enthusiastics out there this boy has titles in his future. We get the feeling JR would be a water boy also, so anyone who loves to camp, RV, or has a second home to travel to, JR LOVES to ride in the car!! Can we use the word perfect to describe a puppy, OH yes we can, this boy has seen a hard life in his short months and appreciates the good life and understands being well behaved gets him a great time. JR arrived with wild hair and Sue was able to groom him to perfection, look at the head line on his middle picture, you cannot get a line like that on a puppy who is not well behaved on the grooming table. JR is ready to find his forever home
