Penny, Nala, Sheldon-GREAT dogs!'s Story...

They are siblings - l-l/2 yrs and 60-70#.  Came from their home where their Grt Pyrenees mom remains.  We are socializing them as they have not met any dogs or people  other than their immediate family.

We have separated them to better socialize this family.  They've already met and hung with a number of new pals at B&B - they arrived 8/25/12 and are stretching their legs playing in one of our big playgrounds....

So, now they wanna work on a goat ranch! - Well, they passed their 'goat test' - walked them around goats and they did nothing......

Nala got adopted and moved to Big Bear September 20 - check out her great 'First Night' photos on Facebook....and she's back!  She is not a dog to be left home alone inside...and we impressed this on her adopter.  So, Nala did not fail - she was being a dog and was put in a bad situation.  We can give advice and great instructions as we know our dogs well, but we cannot make folks follow the rules.....and then the dogs pay for it.  We don't want her to lose all the great headway she made over two weeks, so somebody who loves yellow labs and great pyrenees and can spend time with her and wants her great hugs jump in her and foster/adopt this gal...and her siblings!

If you are interested in this pooch, please email us your application at beagles@beaglesandbuddies.org so that we may set up a meet n' greet.  Locations depend on the personality/age of the dog.  If it's a puppy or a shy dog, only Apple Valley sanctuary meets are available.  For everyone else, we have mobile adoptions available- please visit our home page for venues.

Note: For the mobile adoptions, please email us your application at least 3 days in advance so that we can get to know you and your family. This helps us send compatible pooches.

For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section and follow the instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a new leash, collar, a coupon booklet from PetSmart and/or Petco, and all medical records.  We can microchip and always love to board our graduates.  Check out the "Boarding" section of our web. Please bring the family and other dogs to visit any open house day/time.  Thanx!

About Beagles and Buddies

About Our Rescue Group...

www.beaglesandbuddies.com

Please visit our website before emailing... most everything about the adoption process is answered!

We hope this material will help you decide if a Beagles & Buddies canine companion should be in your future. If you're considering a "rescued companion", you will need to know that all dogs that enter our rescue are screened before they are available for adoption. They are checked for temperament problems, given all required vaccines, spayed or neutered and are socialized. A donation is requested as well as a signed adoption contract.

Donations range from $150 - $750 depending on the age and breed. We support our non-profit and no-kill sanctuary from funds generated by these donations, therefore, puppy and pure-bred donations, which are higher, help keep the older, less adoptable dogs from harms way. Our older dogs often require dental care, blood work and other attention. We also have a great track record at finding our older canine companions great homes, as well!

We are looking for serious people and families who will be responsible canine companion adopters; which means making the dog part of your family, providing inside/outside homes, quality food, veterinary care, attending training classes and making a commitment to the dog for the rest of its' life, through good times and bad.

If you fit this description, we look forward to helping you find a canine companion suitable for your family - because that's what we do best!
