Butch's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Butch's Story...
Butch is ~8 months old. He is a very happy, active puppy. Because he is a puppy, he requires a lot exercise. He LOVES to play fetch in the yard. He also likes to chew on things, so he will need a home that understands he needs to be given proper things to chew on and put things he should not chew on out of his reach. He LOVES kids. He can use a dog door, is crate trained, and walks pretty well on a lead. He is looking for a family to call his own. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been on HW preventative.

Adoption fee $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butch, a Oklahoma City Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
