Dewey's Story...
My siblings and I are true miracle babies! RCAF volunteers rescued our mommy as part of a TNR project, but couldn't find us. They thought someone else took us or that we did not survive. :( A week later we miraculously appeared in the church parking lot next door to where our mommy was being fed! It's a miracle that we survived without our mommy for a week because we are so young. We are little fighters! I am the smallest and the quietest, but I sure let my foster mommy know when I am hungry! I'm really a sweet baby and love to cuddle with my foster mom and my siblings!

My estimated date of birth is 4/22/09.

I am neutered, current on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dewey, a Cleveland Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
