WBRP SHELTER, PORT ALLEN, LA 225-336-2428
Waldo was left in our overnight box last week, at least his owners left us a note so that we knew we could start looking for him a new home right away. Waldo is the cutest little chihuahua/terrier mix. He's not big at all, he only weighs 6.8 lbs. and is a shorty. Waldo is friendly, playful and just all around sweet. He seems to get along with everyone. Waldo is a very young adult , probably not much over a year. If you would like to give this beautiful little boy a forever home, please contact the shelter asap. Waldo would appreciate it. NO ADOPTION FEE at WBRP Shelter. All applicants are carefully screened, shelter reserves the right to refuse adoption. Vet references may be asked for.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waldo, a Baton Rouge Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
