Meow! My name is Butter

Butter was dropped in a carrier in the driveway of a volunteer's home.  She was not there, but a neighbor saw the man with the cat and told him not to leave the cat, but he did. His story was that the cat belonged to his aging mother who was being transferred to a nursing home that very day.  Butter was full of fleas and his beautiful long fur was very sparse and missing on many places of his body.  He was very frightened and angry.  He went to to the Vet the same day where he was tested negative for FELV/FiV/HW, shots updated. and a flea treatment applied. We are caring for Butter and he is making progress everyday.  His fur is starting to return and he loves his wet food and stands at the door of his cage when his foster mom prepares the meals for all the cats.  Butter is now a most handsome boy!  He is always looking for attention He likes hanginh under the outdoor cat holiday tree that is foster mom put up just for him and his buddies..  If anyone is interested in seeing him, please call us.  BUTTER IS FRONT DE-CLAWED.
