I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sheamus's Story...
Oh what a love! This little guy was rescued from the shelter he was supposed to be euthanized. He and his sister Sophie had been completely neglected. Luckily both Sheamus and Sophie have found themselves in wonderful foster homes! While Sophie has been adopted, Sheamus is still looking for his forever home. He is GREAT with dogs and cats, he is working on housebreaking, he is fine in a crate while you are gone, and he LOVES TO CUDDLE. Seriously, you want a cuddle buddy? This boy is for you! Taking applications now! Please visit www.petpromise.org to complete an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheamus, a Columbus American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Columbus, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
