Sam is a gorgeous little Schnauzer mix boy. He was an owner surrender. He was given to his last owner about six months ago, and his owner didn’t want him. So Sam just ran around the country. Not a good life for a 12 pound dog. This three year old darling was born on August 21st, 2009. Sam is very sweet, loves people and loves other dogs. He would love to find a great forever home.
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application
here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.
After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not meet he/she will be adopted to that home.
Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
