Cruise is a 3 to 4 year old 75 pound black lab who is sweet, fun-loving, and can we just say an all around HAPPY boy! He gets so excited when it is time for his daily walks and runs with his foster mom! As soon as he sees his foster mom grab the harness he starts prancing around the house! He does great on a leash and would make a wonderful jogging companion! He did have a toe amputated after being rescued by Lucky Lab, but this doesn't slow him down a bit. It has given him a "quirky" hop in his step that his foster family has come to adore. He is friendly and loves to play with his foster siblings (including a kitty!), but it would not be recommended for him to be left unattended and alone with a kitty companion while the humans are away, as sometimes he forgets his size and needs a reminder to "play nice." Cruise loves to "lean into" his humans when he is getting his ears rubbed and has claimed a recliner as his very own, where you can find him curled up and napping after his evening run. He does bark at strangers, like the delivery guy or mailman, but once he knows they are okay with you, he’s okay too. He is learning his basic commands, takes treats nicely, and is house and crate trained. He would be a wonderful companion to any family or individual, but it would be recommended that he go to a home with older children due to him not always realizing his size or the strength of his wagging tail! Cruise’s foster mom describes him as an absolute love. Cruise is ready to find his very own "happy forever home!" Cruise is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative.
