Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mink is a happy, friendly, snuggly and extremely attentive 18-month-old, 45-pound, male, dark brown and white pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Mink was found as a stray in Gary, Indiana. He has a delightful temperament and enjoys the company of other dogs and people. His tail is always happily wagging and he’s full of kisses. He has a healthy-looking glossy dark brown coat with a white chest. He doesn’t have a speck of aggression, but he does jump up enthusiastically, so he’d be best in a home without small children … at least until he’s gotten some obedience and manners training. Mink knows how to sit on command and takes treats pretty nicely from your fingers. He doesn’t appear to know what toys and balls are for yet … but hopefully he’ll get to enjoy them in his new home. Mink is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and on monthly preventative. To meet and possibly adopt Mink, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs. He is currently living in a vet’s office on the Northwest side of Chicago and would love a family to call his own.
