Teddy's Story...
Teddy is a very friendly black Lab Mix. His demeanor is just like a Teddy Bear and he loves to cuddle. He gets along great with all of the other dogs when he goes to adoption events. He loves chewing on rawhide bones and will stay busy for about an hour if he has one to enjoy. He is also very smart. He recently impressed a couple at an event with his ability to sit on command. Teddy needs a home where he will be loved and taken out for runs or walks on a regular basis. Like most Labs he enjoys the water and wouldnt mind take a swim every now and then. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a San Antonio Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
