Rascal's Story...
We gave Rascal his name right away after rescuing him from Animal Care Services, San Antonio"s municipal pound. He was running around and jumping about 3 feet in the air. One of the staff members replied "look at that Rascal go!" and we all looked at each other and agreed that the name was a percect fit. Rascal is has a high energy personality and would benefit from a family that maintains a pretty active lifestyle. He has atleast a 2.5 to 3 foot vertical jump and wopuld probably be well suited for someone interested in agility trials or even frisbee competitions. Beneath all the energy, Rascal enjoys belly rubs as much as the next dog. plus he gets along great with other dogs and would be a great companion for a family who has another high energy dog to play with. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal, a San Antonio Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
