Carmen's Story...
Carmen was once a feral kitten and is more than ready for her forever home! She was born in May 2012 and was living on a hillside in the Palisades where we have lots of coyotes. She was trapped on August 7th, 2012 and spayed, is FIV and FeLV negative, is microchipped, has had her vaccinations and comes with all the amenities: cat carrier, cat condo/scratching post, litter/litter box, food/food bowls and toys. She came home with me for taming on August 9th. After only 10 days, she let me hold her, enjoys being held and needs to find her forever home NOW-my dog is no longer happy that she's in HIS house! Carmen is a very spunky girl who wants a "forever" home and she will be fine with a dog who is okay with cats! PLEASE email me if you are interested in adopting her so she no longer has to live in a cage!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmen, a Santa Monica Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
