Adolf is an amazing dog. He is super sweet and gentle. He loves kids and giving kisses. He is trained on the invisible fence. He could use some leash training but he is getting the hang of it. He is only about 5 months old, and is going to be a large dog. He is great with other dogs and cats. He is fixed, up to date on shots and microchipped.
If you are interested in a dog, please go to www.tailsofcourage.org to fill out an application, and email to tailsofcourage@optonline.net. We are NOT a shelter, we are a group of foster homes in various states, please be respectful of the hours you call. Adoption fee $350. We can transport privately to you, transport fees vary based on weight of dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adolf GREAT FAMILY DOG, a Danbury Dutch Shepherd/Carolina Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Carolina Dog for sale in Danbury, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Carolina Dog puppy from a breeder in Danbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Danbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Danbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Carolina Dog breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Danbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
