Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Heinz was found along abandoned at a gas station. Efforts to find his owner failed and the finder kept Heinz in his back yard for the next four months.
Heinz is young and he acts his age. He loves to play and is always ready for a romp. He is a puppy, so he doesn’t challenge the older dogs. He is shy for a second or two with new people and then is all over them with love. With a little more getting out and about in the world, we expect him to soon not even have that moment of shyness. He really is a great little dog.
Heinz has legs just a little bit longer than the average dachshund so he might only be a “mostly” dachshund. These longer legs means he can go to a home with stairs.
Heinz has learned to sleep in a crate – but he wants out the first time he hears someone get up. He Is now neutered, micro chipped and current on his vaccinations.
If you are interested in Heinz , please fill out an adoption application at www.scdr.org and email Lindy at linla@comcast.net.
The tax deductible donation for Heinz is $275.
