Buster's Story...
Hello, my name is Buster. I was sitting in a concrete cell at a place all the other dogs told me was called "The Pound" and they started telling me that my 3 days were almost up. Being a young pup i had no idea what that meant till my kennel mate went to the Euthanasia Room and never came back. I realized that I needed to devise a plan to escape but luckily I am cute and friendly. The staff from SNIPSA walked by and said they were here to rescue me and that I had nothing to worry about. Boy, they werent joking. They took me out of the pound and cleaned me up. I had to be neutered which was a little painful but I trust SNIPSA when they say I will be healthier now. Now they are trying to find me a "forever" home. I"ve never had one of those but I love how it sounds. If you think I am the right pet for you please visit www.snipsa.org to fiil out an adoption application or email SNIPSA at snipsaadoptions@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a San Antonio Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
