RYAN's Story...
He was just another black lab mix, sitting pitifully on death row in a local "shelter," but volunteers at Alvin Animal Control fell in love with this sweet natured puppy and sent out a plea to the rescue community to save his life. His sad eyes touched our hearts. "Ryan" looked like a twin to our "Opy," the rescue puppy with a broken leg who was recovering from ortho surgery. They were the same height/weight/age and, once Opy's leg healed, he and Ryan played like litter mates. On walks, they were in perfect step, no pulling and jerking, you would have thought they graduated from puppy class 101 together. When Opy got adopted a month later, Ryan missed him and their walks, but he soon found a couple other new rescue friends, Annabella and Bianca, and their friendship helped with his separation anxiety. Ryan is very loyal and always looks up to you for approval, never wanting to disobey, or cause any problem. Ryan is truly a great companion dog who will love going on walks with you around the neighborhood and will patiently wait by the door to greet you when you come home . Come and meet someone sweeter than chocolate at this Tuesday's Rice U Farmer's Market. CONTACT: TRUEBLUERESCUE@GMAIL.COM 713-522-2299.

About Hearts Unleashed Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Hearts Unleashed Rescue is a volunteer-based no kill rescue organization founded in 2009 to serve as caretaker for abused, homeless, and abandoned pets and to provide medical care and rehabilitation for animals in our care. We endeavor to enrich their lives with love, socialization, and emotional healing. We are committed to match each rescued animal with a loving, permanent home, where they will live a life filled with love and dignity.

Most of our dogs live with foster families until adopted. We know their personalities, enabling us to make a good match between adopters and pets.

ALERT - We need your support to continue our rescue efforts!!! Our adoption fees do not cover medical, food, and boarding costs for the dogs in our program. A PayPal donation may be made to: .

In addition to the dogs listed here, we continue to feed neighborhood strays we are attempting to trap, and need dry and canned dog food donations for these endeavours. If you wish to make a donation of FOOD, please contact us by email so we may arrange a pick-up or drop-off location.

We and the dogs thank you for your support!!!
