JOSIE's Story...
Josie is about 10 weeks old and she looks like a mix of long haired Dachshund and Chihuahua. She was a shelter drop off so the parents are unknown. Josie is a very happy pup but she is still a little people shy. She is excited when she sees me and dances around but she doesn't come right up to me. I assume she has had little interaction with people in her young life and was obviously unwanted since she was just plunked at the shelter. I am sure she will be quite loveable once she learns she can trust people. Josie needs to settle in to a forever home where love abounds and happy endings are a reality.

To see Josie contact Melissa 740-596-9475 or email : dogdiva@dragonbbs.com.
We are in Southern Ohio - 45651 if you wish to MapQuest
Josie's adoption fee is $130.00 . She has had her first shot and been wormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JOSIE, a McArthur Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in McArthur, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in McArthur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McArthur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McArthur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McArthur paves the way for another one to be saved.
