Emmy-NJ's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Emmy-NJ's Story...
Emmy, about 8 yrs. old (typically female, she won't tell us her true age!), will make a great companion for a stay at home mom or a senior who likes to keep active. She likes to sleep late (on the bed with her people), and she will eat anything that is served. Now she is eating special food to keep her skin looking its best, but she gets a little people food and treats daily. She will keep quiet for hours chewing rawhide. In fact, she is typically quiet, unless riding in the crate in the car (which she prefers not to do), or if she can't see her people or "her dog."

Emmy enjoys leash walks and gives kisses to children. She uses heartworm and flea control monthly, and eye moisture drops twice daily. She is cooperative for all medicines. She is spayed, and most times she uses the doggy door. Like most gals, Emmy likes to get her hair done about once a month.

Emmy is being fostered in Hamilton Square, NJ and her asking adoption fee is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmy-NJ, a Mays Landing Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Mays Landing, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Mays Landing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mays Landing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mays Landing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mays Landing paves the way for another one to be saved.
