found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Goober is an adoptable Lab mix, and well, he is a bit of a goober…but in a totally good way!! Goober is about 2 years old, and he weighs about 60 pounds. Goober has the sweetest little personality, and he gets along well with everyone, including other dogs! He has met cats and just didn’t know what to do about them, except want to chase them! He is definitely not shy about making friends! As soon as you meet him, he will greet you with a big bear hug and just about as much affection as has ever come out of a dog! Goober’s favorite activity is getting out of his kennel to investigate anything and everything (especially all his fellow canines!) Who could blame him? Just imagine how many smells there must be to investigate! Although, Goober says he would love to investigate YOUR house even more!! Sweet Goober has a high energy level. This means that he would really love to be part of an active family that will include him in lots of walking, playing, and any other activity you can shake a stick at! (Come to think of it, Goober would love to play fetch with said shaking sticks!). After a long day of playing, this sweet guy would make the perfect pillow to pile onto while you relax and take in a family movie! Goober is also incredibly affectionate, and we’re pretty sure he is really just a tiny lapdog dressed in a big dog’s body! His unawareness of his size and his super playful nature means that he will require just a smidge of training so that he doesn’t knock you over with all his doggy love! But good news….Labradors like Goober are one of the most highly trainable dog breeds! And check this out: they are also such gentle creatures by nature that they can actually be trained to carry eggs in their mouths without breaking them! How cool is that?! Because he has such as sweet nature, Goober would make an excellent dog for kids! He should be kept at bay from smaller children until he is taught to contain all of his excitement, but after that, he would make the perfect playmate, even for the smaller children. As for the older kids— he will give them a run for their money to see just who can out-Goober who! This silly boy has so much love to give, and we just know that the family who is LUCKY enough to have Goober in their lives will feel so special because of all this love! Goober is up to date on all his vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative and microchipped. So, if our adorable little (er, not so little) Goober sounds like the perfect dog for your family please fill out an online application and remember to write his name in the notes section. He just can’t wait to meet you!
