Cody's Story...
Hi I'm Cody... I'm approx 1.5 yrs old to 2 .5 yrs old. On Mother's day my mom died... And her only family didn't have time or room for me so I was adopted... Only to end up on death row at an animal shelter. I'm very energetic and love to play... I love to give kisses and just want to be close to someone. I have never been around small children... So I would prefer a home with older kids. I promise to be your forever friend. Please have room in your heart to give me a happy ending and a forever home.....Adoption fee is $125.00 fully vetted. Fill out an application on kentuckysave.com and email it to kentuckysave@yahoo.com or call 859-621-1472

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Lexington Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lexington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lexington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lexington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lexington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lexington paves the way for another one to be saved.
