Baby T's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

Baby T's Story...
I was kept in a back yard at an apartment complex. When the place was foreclosed, my people had to move and go to a place where they could not keep me. I have had conservative treatment for heartworms and hope to test negative early next year. I am very friendly toward those I trust and love, and I enjoy neck rubs. I get nervous around children, and I don't care for most men. I will probably do best as an only dog, with one or possibly two female adults. I can be quite protective. If you need a good guard dog, I'm your ideal security system! Just please don't forget the neck rubs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby T, a Wharton Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Wharton, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Wharton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wharton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wharton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wharton paves the way for another one to be saved.
