|Size:||Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less||Sex:||Female|
I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
I was kept in a back yard at an apartment complex. When the place was foreclosed, my people had to move and go to a place where they could not keep me. I have had conservative treatment for heartworms and hope to test negative early next year. I am a good guard dog, but get nervous around children and I don't care for most men. I will probably do best as an only dog, with one or two female adults.

Rescue Group Info...
We are the Wharton County Stray Pet Outreach Team (SPOT). We are a Foster Care-based program and we assist and support those who have rescued stray or neglected animals. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, heartworm test and medically treat all the animals that we offer for adoption.
Animals may be viewed on our website: Since most of the animals that are ready for adoption are currently in Foster Homes, they can be seen by appointment only. Please call (979) 253-3446.
We have an application & reference-check procedure. Dog adoption fee is $75 and Cat adoption fee is $50
