Caesar's Story...
This handsome blonde kitten with white mittens is Caesar. He is approximately 11 weeks old as of 8/27/12. He came to Tenth Life after his rescurer found him and his brother Cicero in a bag at the side of Kingshighway in 100+ degree heat when they were only 4 weeks old. Unfortunately, they had other siblings that weren’t so lucky which makes their brotherly bond even more special. We can’t imagine anyone tossing these handsome boys aside, but lucky for them Tenth Life came to the rescue.

Caesar is a very outgoing and social kitty. He loves to play with his brother as well as his foster sister, Indra. He is totally laid back when it comes to meeting the public at adoption events, car rides and other cats. He is still a little intimated by dogs but he is being introduced to them in his foster home and getting more comfortable with them. Caesar is slightly more outgoing than his brother as he is the first to climb on his scratching post or to check out something new. Caesar is a pretty quiet kitty who loves to play. However, like his brother, Caesar is a kitty that loves his cuddle time and is getting more affectionate as time goes on. His foster mommy foresees him being a kitty that likes to split his time between playing and cuddling as he gets older.

Caesar would do great with another cat to play with or better yet, with his brother Cicero. Please consider giving this handsome baby his FUREVER home.

About Our Rescue Group...
Tenth Life is an animal welfare organization that provides another chance at life to injured and abused stray cats. Our focus is on felines with extreme medical needs or ongoing conditions that make it difficult for typical shelters to afford their care.

Stage one of our mission is getting needy cats off the streets of St. Louis and into caring Foster Homes, where they await their forever homes. Stage two´s goal is to open a shelter building that will house special-needs kitties in a cage-free, no-kill setting until they can be carefully placed in their forever homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caesar, a St. Louis Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
