Facts about Creepy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Calico Or Dilute Calico
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Creepy arrived at our shelter with a litter of kittens in tow. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Creepy grew up in an environment with many, many other cats and little human interaction. This has made Creepy a but leery of people. Creepy is about 2 years old. She has been spayed and her little one's have long since been adopted. Though Creepy may never be a "lap cat", we do believe she will become a much more confident kitty in a calmer, more predictable environment with a person who will provide her with the love and reassurance she needs to come out of her shell and learn to love!

About Humane Society of Westchester at New Rochelle

About Our Shelter...

Founded in 1911, the New Rochelle Humane Society is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing individual loving care for lost, abandoned, injured, and mistreated animals. We service 17 communities in Westchester County and rescue over 500 dogs and 900 cats each year.

About 50% of the shelter’s funding is from services provided for animal control (rescuing homeless cats and dogs). The other 50% comes from donations, wills and bequests. We do not receive any state or federal funding.

Audited by a CPA each year, we make our tax filings available for public inspection and we meet all standards of the New York Philanthropic Advisory Service of the Better Business Bureau. Our Board of Directors is comprised entirely of volunteers.
