Otis's Story...
Otis is an adult springer who is good with most other dogs, loves to play ball with you, and is house trained. He is a sweet fellow who makes friends easily. We can tell you more about him after he has been in his foster home for a few days. Please check our main website which will have a better description of him. www.springerrescue.org

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Casey.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otis, a Minneapolis English Springer Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Springer Spaniel for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a English Springer Spaniel dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Springer Spaniel breeders who help with English Springer Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
