I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
PupPup is the perfect sized dog! At 16 lbs, he is considered a small dog but he does need to be carried around nor does he have the little dog attitude. He would be perfect in a condo or apartment. PupPup rarely barks, but when he does, it is not a high pitched bark. He is a very calm dog and only tends to get excited when he sees his leash. He loves to go for walks and sits nicely for his harness to be put on. He would make a great walking or hiking partner. PupPup is perfectly content taking a few walks per day and then lounging around buried in blankets. I work in a animal shelter and I have been taking him to work with me. He has been great with dogs of all sizes. He is not much of a wrestler, but he has found a few friends his size to gallop around with. He has not paid any attention to my cats or the cats in the shelter. PupPup is quick to warm up to people and loved letting children pet him at the dog park.He rides great in the car and jumps right in excited to look out the window. He enjoys licking peanut butter out of a small kong, however, he is not a chewer. You will not have to worry about him destroying anything in your home. PupPup adjusted very quickly to living with us and he has been one of the easiest dogs we've had. I think he would make a wonderful addition to anyone wanting a sweet, cuddly, well-adjusted friend!

We are a small group of rescuers who have done rescue with other groups for many years.. some of us have started other rescues. we found that some rescues do not use good adoption practices and felt a new rescue can help more dogs.
all dogs currently in foster homes or still at shelters.
require application for all adoptions, require home visit, require contract with clause to return dog if can't keep. Fees vary $150- $300
check references, vets, judiciary, home ownership
